A RatGate is a highly effective rodent prevention device that fits into your drains with the simple purpose of keeping rats out of your property. This is a simple and highly effective way to stop rats from entering your property via drains permanently.
The RatGate is quick and easy to install, only basic tools are required. The RatGate is made from high grade laser cut stainless steel and requires no maintenance other than a periodic check once the device has been installed.
RatGate is the only product on the market that allows you to open the flap from the top of the manhole thanks to a patented liftable flap mechanism, which provides easy access for drain maintenance. This is a crucial feature for any rodding or camera investigations that may be needed in the future.
The device opens with the direction of flow, which allows water / waste to pass effortlessly through the device, without allowing rats to push against it and gain access to your property. It is also multi-directional and can be installed in either the up or down stream direction of flow.
The RatGate is humane, poison free and environmentally friendly and manufactured in 4" (110mm), 6" (160mm) and 9" (225mm) versions that fit clay, plastic and cast-iron drainage pipes.
