The Defender solar panel bird spikes stop pigeons and other birds dead in their tracks. If you or your customer have problems with birds nesting under solar panels, our solar spikes will prevent access using pre-assembled, 304-grade stainless steel pins (each strip is 33cm long).
In recent years, solar panels have boomed in popularity as the go-to energy generation system. But, unfortunately, the installers often forget to mention the problem of pigeons using them for nesting, warmth and safety. Once these spikes are installed, the pins will act as a bar that does not allow pigeons and other birds to push underneath.
As solar panels and solar water-heating systems can be installed on various roof tile shapes, be it a flat tile or a pantile (s-shaped), you may need different heights of posts to protect the sides and prevent birds from crawling underneath fully. Prices are per strip.
